One of 500 numbered sets, 15 volumes, 8vo (24 x 16cm), original quarter blue morocco with decorative paper-covered boards and gilt titles to spines, each in decorative-paper covered slipcase to match boards, black and white illustrations within the text by Quentin Blake, Jill Bennett, Nancy Ekholm Burkert, Joseph Schindelman, William Pène du Bois and Donald Chaffin, respectively, housed in original blue cloth slipcase

This set was published to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Roald Dahl's birth (Dahl had died the previous year).
