London: by the Deputies of Christopher Barker, 1589. 4to (20.6 x 15.5cm), contemporary blind-stamped calf (covers detached, loss to head of spine), remnants of clasps and catches, text in black letter, printed in two columns, New Testament title-page with decorative woodcut border, lacking 3 leaves (i.e. pi1-2, including general title-page, and *1), extant leaves of quire (i.e. *2-4) misbound at front of volume (intended to divide the OT and NT) and frayed, Apocrypha misbound at end rather than after OT (here following an edition of the Concordances and an incomplete Psalms, and before an incomplete Book of Common Prayer), browning, headlines and side-notes often shaved [ESTC S101765; Herbert 200]
