Oblong 8vo (9.2 x 14.3cm), c.1800 half calf, engraved allegorical title-page, engraved table ('A Catalogue of all the Shires'), 62 engraved maps (of 63: lacking the folding map ‘England, Scotland and Ireland’), lacking text-leaves O4 (pertaining to Yorkshire) and [2A4] (final leaf: ‘The Table’), joints cracked, title-page laid down, ‘A Catalogue’ leaf with small spill-burn, maps often closely trimmed along one edge, variable soiling, marginal losses to text-leaves H5-6, O3, R5-6, Monmouthshire map (T2) with loss to one corner [Chubb XI; ESTC S103213; Skelton 17]
