First edition, 4to (26.4 x 20cm), contemporary half calf, 10 hand-coloured aquatint plates, pencilled ownership inscription 'JEA, Westerton’ to the front free endpaper, half-title and directions to the binder leaf discarded, spine worn, joints cracked, plates slightly offset [Abbey Travel 433];
Parks, Fanny. Wanderings of a Pilgrim in Search of the Picturesque during Four-and-Twenty Years in the East. London: Pelham Richardson, 1850. 2 volumes, large 8vo (26.7 x 18cm), contemporary red half roan, possibly an Indian binding, 49 plates interleaved with tissue guards (4 chromolithographs with additional colouring by hand, 17 hand-coloured plates, 8 tinted plates), lacking the folding plan of elevations of the Himalaya mountains usually found in a pocket at the end of volume 1, bindings scuffed in places, inner hinges strengthened with linen tape, occasional toning and marginal spotting to plates, volume 1 frontispiece and plate facing p. vii strengthened in margins, volume 2 frontispiece detached and remargined, title-page similarly reinforced in margins [Abbey Travel 476];

London: printed for John Murray, 1815. 2nd edition, revised and corrected, 4to (25.7 x 18.4cm), later half calf, lacking folding frontispiece map (replaced by map from later edition published by A. & C. Black, Edinburgh), illustrations, some minor staining, pencil and ink annotations, some torn leaves (repaired with minimal loss of text);
Symes, Michael. An Account of an Embassy to the Kingdom of Ava, Sent by the Governor-General of India, in the Year 1795. London: printed for J. Debrett, 1800. 2nd edition, 3 volumes, 8vo (20.7 x 11.8cm), contemporary half calf gilt, text only, lacking the additional 4to volume of plates issued with the text, toning throughout the volumes, binding edges worn, ownership inscriptions on title pages of ‘A. Brooke’, and ‘J.D. Alexander’ who purchased the book in Madras in 1803 [ESTC T134790] (7)
