Davies, 1799. 4to (25.5 x 19.5cm), contemporary half calf, marbled boards, front joint cracked, with 2 folding maps (both with slight tears) and 2 plates, wanting half-title [Blackmer 219; ESTC T83753];
Burckhardt, John Lewis. Travels in Nubia. London: John Murray, 1819. First edition, 4to (27 x 19.8cm), modern half calf, rebound with marbled boards, with engraved frontispiece portrait and 3 engraved maps (2 folding), 20th-century pictorial bookplate of A.I. McGregor, light spotting on plates and 1 of the folded maps with slight tear;

First edition, 4to (28.1 x 21.2cm), original paper boards, rebacked with buckram spine retaining original paper spine label, illustrated with 16 uncoloured lithographed plates, 1 folding, and 2 engraved folding maps, with final advertisement leaf, light spotting to plates and in text, boards soiled and scuffed, hinges strengthened with paper, corners bumped [Abbey Travel, 289];
Hoskins, G.A. Travels in Ethiopia, above the Second Cataract of the Nile. London: Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown, Green, & Longman, 1835. 4to (26.5 x 20.3cm), 19th-century half morocco, marbled boards, gilt spine, 54 lithographed plates, including plans and portraits (some on double leaves and some in colour) and folded map, plates 3 and 16 are hand-coloured, plates 46-49 are chromolithographs (some of the earliest chromolithographed book illustrations in England), with woodcut illustrations (some hand coloured at a later date), wanting pp. 225-226, some spotting and soiling on plates, title page and plate 29 with paper repairs, some plates cropped affecting imprints or plate numbers, boards and spine scuffed [Blackmer 832] (4)
