with some account of his life taken from the writings in 1639 of Izaak Walton. London: The Nonesuch Press, 1923. One of a small number of deluxe copies finely bound for presentation (numbered 20, the total edition comprising 1250 copies, the majority bound in quarter vellum), 4to, original red full vellum lettered and decorated in gilt, patterned paper pastedowns, fore and bottom edges untrimmed, portrait frontispiece of Donne after the frontispiece from LXXX Sermons (1640), contents almost entirely unopened, a little rubbing to extremities, with custom red morocco backed pull-off case with raised bands and gilt title and decoration to spine [Nonesuch Century 1]
