First edition, 8vo (16.8 x 10.1cm), vii 192 pp., lithographic frontispiece and additional vignette title-page by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, finely bound by Alfred de Sauty (1870-1949) in red crushed morocco, spine richly gilt in compartments with repeated design of central flower device and radiating leaf-sprays on pointillé ground, front cover decorated with the same tools in gilt on variform onlaid black morocco panels outlined with interlacing fillets in gilt and blind and arranged to form a rectangular outer frame enclosing column of three circular ornaments, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, shallow area of loss to head of spine, light spotting to prelims
