With an original receipt (header redacted), address in 620 Szechuen Road, Shanghai, China, entry 8 in German roughly translated as ‘Album with five hand-painted silk works depicting love stories, accompanied by related poetry written by famous personalities, embellished with gold. An exceptionally rare and beautiful work from the Ming period (1368–1643).
