A Manuscript note on the front endpaper states
"The Terms and Articles with all the Ceremony at Particular Passages in the Treaty and Completion of the Union betwixt England and Scotland which were mutually said and done by the Commissioners (here named) of both Kingdoms, beginning the 10th Day of April 1706, ending the 25th Day of July following."
