Footnote
*** King Charles VII of Spain ( 1716- ) conquered Naples in 1734 and was recognised there as King Charles VII and invested by the Pope with Sicily and the Kingdom of Jerusalem in 1738 and his arms from 1738 were altered to reflect this. After 1759 he inherited the throne of Spain from his half-brother and his arms were again altered. This would therefore date this binding between 1738 and 1759.
