A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, Nan Nan Liu is a Chinese-born silversmith whose highly intricate, sculptural silverworks are inspired by organic growth patterns and natural movement.
Her signature technique involves hand-piercing hundreds of delicate silver elements, often in rhythmic, repetitive formations, to create pieces that seem to ripple or breathe.
Liu’s work blurs the line between fine art and craft, and she has gained widespread recognition for both her wearable and large-scale silver forms.
She has exhibited at Goldsmiths' Fair, the V&A, and internationally in Taiwan and mainland China.
