Jahday Ford is a visionary glass artist and designer whose work challenges the limits of traditional glassmaking.
Combining hot-glass blowing with digital mold design, Jahday creates contemporary sculptural objects that explore new forms, textures, and material interactions.
A graduate of Manchester School of Art with a BA in 3D Design, Jahday received early recognition through residencies at London Glassblowing, Sunderland Glass, and Stourbridge Glass, where he honed his craft. His award-winning pieces such as Breathe, Deconstruct, Axle, and Biome have been exhibited widely, including at Corning Museum of Glass, Design Junction London, Somerset House, Aberdeen Art Gallery, and Yorkshire Sculpture Park
His practice often intersects with major installations, including a collaboration with Studio Morison at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Jahday’s work continues to feature in high-profile events including London Craft Week, New Designers, Manchester Craft & Design Centre, and The National Centre for Craft & Design
