An Edinburgh-based silver specialist and graduate of the Glasgow School of Art, Bryony Knox is renowned for her expertise in chasing and repoussé, the ancient technique of hammer-forming metal over pine pitch.
Holder of the QEST Famous Grouse Scholarship (2023) and featured in the Homo Faber Guide, Knox’s work spans elegant tableware, sculptural vessels, and commissioned pieces eaten with a playful twist.
She is also an experienced tutor, running workshops and masterclasses from her Edinburgh studio, thus ensuring traditional craftsmanship continues to thrive.
