Areas of Specialism: Design
Francesca Christodoulou is an Associate Specialist in the Design department at Lyon & Turnbull, bringing a strong background in auction operations, gallery management, and research.
With an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art and extensive hands-on experience in both commercial and public art institutions, she is deeply engaged in the art and design sector.
Before joining Lyon & Turnbull, Francesca worked as a Gallery Assistant at ILENIA, a contemporary art space in Shoreditch, where she played a key role in exhibition coordination, client engagement, and administrative management. She also gained valuable auction experience as a member of our viewing staff team, assisting in major sales such as The Bernard Kelly Collection, MODERN MADE and Lalique, handling over 500 lots, and supporting post-sale logistics.
Francesca has further honed her expertise through internships at Galerie Max Hetzler in Mayfair, where she conducted research and catalogued artworks, and at the Victoria and Albert Museum, where she worked as a Project Curator for the Digital Design Weekend, managing artist liaison and event logistics.
With a passion for design history and a keen eye for detail, Francesca is committed to contributing to the excellence of Lyon & Turnbull’s Design department, supporting valuations, cataloguing, and auction operations.
