Hannah Murphy FGA joined our ever-growing Luxury team as a Jewellery specialist in 2026.
Hannah studied Law at the University of Glasgow before proceeding to gain her Art History masters, focusing on Collecting & Provenance. After exploring opportunities in the legal field, she was drawn in by the beautiful objects, interesting characters and chaotic buzz of the auction world.
Beginning her auction career in Glasgow, Hannah progressed from Trainee to General Valuer, developing knowledge across a range of specialist departments, including jewellery, silver, sporting medals, works of art & furniture.
In 2021, Hannah moved to an firm in North-East England where she chose to hone a specialism in jewellery. She has gained professional qualifications in the field, completing the Gemmology Foundation before proceeding to earn the prestigious Diploma Qualification with The Gemmological Association of Great Britain in 2025.
