This edition of our flagship auction is led by a beautiful still life by the Scottish Colourist S. J. Peploe from a distinguished private American collection, which is accompanied by a gem of a Paris street scene by his fellow Colourist, J. D. Fergusson. Enjoy the rare and remarkable The Horse Fair of 1928 by Agnes Miller Parker to the market, whilst paintings by Anne Redpath reveal her talents in the still life and landscape genres. A fine London view by David Roberts from the Ursula & Gordon Bowyer Collection, a nude shown in the Society of Scottish Artists’ exhibition of 1913 by Stanley Cursiter and a romantic portrait by Maurice Greiffenghagen also feature in the auction, alongside works by artists including Elizabeth Blackadder from Gillian Raffles’ Collection, Steven Campbell, David Young Cameron, E.
