Are you passionate about art, antiques, and the fast-paced world of auctions? We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Fine Asian Works of Art Intern to support our team in handling and preparing items for sale while ensuring a seamless experience for clients and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with photography of items for cataloguing purposes.
- Assist specialists with lotting, condition reports images, and administrative tasks.
- Support the viewing set up, including helping to arrange artwork displays
- Provide support during viewing days, engaging with clients and answering inquiries.
- Provide support during sale day and participate in Telephone bidding with Chinese clients during live auctions.
- Provide support during the post-sale process, including packing and collection.
- Pack and unpack delicate objects, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Keep small objects organised and accurately labelled for easy identification.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent organisational skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, courteous, and presentable with strong client-facing skills.
- Strong time management and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A passion for Asian art, antiques, and auctions is highly desirable.
- Mandarin language skills would be beneficial

Dates:
- August-September 9:30 – 17:00
Payment:
- £12.60 an hour (With additional days possible)
Interview Dates:
- Estimated to be around 17th – 25th of July 2025
