All our sales are fully illustrated online ahead of the sale. Additional images and condition report information is also available online (just sign in/ register).
If you are interested in a lot(s) from any forthcoming sale you can request condition reports via our website. If you would like to speak to a specialist about a particular lot, or require additional images/videos, our team are available via email, telephone or video call.

Bid live in all our sales from the comfort of your home or office, for no additional surcharge, with Lyon & Turnbull Live. Just follow the link at the head of every online catalogue, lot page or on the auction calendar.
All our sales are also available for viewing and live bidding on The-Saleroom, Invaluable and Live Auctioneers (an additional surcharge is charged by these services)
If you are logged into our Lyon & Turnbull account online, you can leave an absentee bid online by selecting the 'Leave a Bid' option on your chosen lot. Alternatively you can call us on 0131 557 8844 or email email@example.com. Please note that our bid department may contact you for further details.
Bid by telephone - our clerk will call you on the auction day, just before your lot(s) come up, and bid on your behalf live at the auction when instructed to do so. If you would like to bid by telephone please contact our team prior to the auction with your details of the lots you are interested in and your full name, mailing address, telephone number(s) and email.
Please note there will be no in-room bidding available for our current season of specialist auctions.
Due to updated Government restrictions nationwide, we are currently unable to offer in-person viewing. We are creating a virtual tour for each auction, found at the head of each catalogue and on the auction calendar.
Due to the recent increase in restrictions in Scotland we will no longer be able to offer personal collections by appointment from either our Edinburgh or Glasgow venues. Collections/ deliveries by professional carrier only, pre-booked appointment essential. Get in touch with our Edinburgh or Glasgow teams to find out more.
We are very happy to store any purchased items until such restrictions should be relaxed for comfort and safety of our staff and clients.
In London appointments for pre-booked collections/deliveries are available Tuesday & Wednesday each week.

Our accounts teams will continue to be available to process payments and answer queries. We will be able to accept online payments through our website and bank transfer.
There will be no on-site payment facilities and no cash accepted as all our venues are closed to the public. Please note our standard invoice payment terms will continue to apply.
