Lyon & Turnbull is delighted to present highlights of our 03 December 2026 Scottish Paintings & Sculpture auction at the Mall Galleries in London this month. They will be shown alongside the previews of our MODERN MADE, Lalique and Travel & Vintage Posters sales.
Continuing our celebrations of a century of selling the Scottish Colourists, beautiful paintings by Francis Campbel Boileau Cadell, John Duncan Fergusson, George Leslie Hunter and Samuel John Peploe will be on display.
They will be accompanied by works including Joan Eardley’s magnificent Glasgow Back Street with Children Playing and Stanley Cursiter’s intimate Girls at a Window, which was much admired when it was included in our recent touring exhibition of Cursiter’s work. Admission is free and all are welcome.
The Scottish Paintings & Sculpture auction will be held live in Edinburgh and online on 03 December 2026. The sale and its catalogue will go live on our website in early November. Set a reminder to be amongst the first to view the lots.
