Swiss. An unusual silver cased pocket watch with split-second chronograph

Description
Keyless winding mechanical movement with steel chronograph works, white enamel dial with black Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dials for running seconds and 30 minute chronograph register, gilt spade hands, blued steel chronograph seconds hands, silvered (.925) hinged case with engine-turned reverse with decorative central blank cartouche, oval split chronograph button to the band, plain cuvette. The case stamped WHT for William Horace Thompson who was registered 1908-1913. Accompanied by what appears to be the original card case with image on the cover labelling the watch ‘The Ascot’ complete with retailer Weil & Co, 111 Hatton Garden, London and stamped address to J.Levy, 92 Abbots Ford Place, Glasgow.
