Description
Australian blackbean, with sycamore inlay, with hanging space to interior and mirrored plate to inside door, bears label verso "WARDROBE/ Designed by EDWARD BARNSLEY and made at his Froxfield Petersfield Workshops in 1956 by assistant OSKAR DAWSON for RONALD LAY ESQ who paid £172 for this cabinet in Australian Blackbean. Found for sale in Barnsley's workshop by John Minoprio and bought by him for £150 in August 1968."
