the foliate embossed dial with white enamel chapters and a bell striking eight day movement, the balloon shaped case inlaid throughout with scrolling foliage, surmounted by a seated cherub and centred by a ho ho bird, raised on griffin form scroll feet, together with a later ebonised bracket
