decorated with the Queen of Clubs and the Knave of Spades, on a white ground within stylized formal foliate border, the sides and hinged cover with stylized floral decoration, the corners of the cover with the four suits, pale blue ground, with ropetwist borders, the base engraved ‘Dec 25th 1901; gilt interior, with scratched number 2415
