the prow in the form of a cockerel’s head, his elaborate tail forming the openwork handle, the body decorated with scrolling flowerheads on cream and pale-green grounds, the rim with a geometric design of alternating oval panels of foiled lime-green enamel and filigree swirled pellets, rope-twist borders, the base inscribed ‘Moskau zum 11 November 1910’
