This table is a unique piece commissioned by Luke and Caroline Borwick for Captain Blair's study. The oak is from an ancient tree of the Blair policies. The beautifully patterned wood, notable for its mirroring and cat's paws, demonstrates what Paul calls his 'natural reminders'. The shape is reminiscent of the Georgian dining table upstairs and the pedestal legs reflect the pillasters on the fireplace created by Captain Blair.
