George McHattie, Edinburgh 1818, of demi-fluted urn form, with engraved presentation inscription to body, ‘…to Robert Ewing Esq by his friend Robert Angus 1819’ to one side and armorial to the other, the C-scroll handle with ivory inserts, the hinged lid with fluted border and lion rampant finial, raised on a spreading stem to a square foot
