Goldsmiths & Silversmiths, London 1931, of simple rectangular outline with moulded reeded rims, the twin handed covers with central hinged loop handle, the covers engraved with GvR cypher and Royal Arms within garter, the interior fitted with cut glass inkwell and pierced chalk pot, the other compartment plain, raised on four paw feet set to corners
