mounts unmarked, the handle carved with bands of interlaced work and with applied studs, the shoulders additionally mounted, with simple pommel with acorn finial, with large spear pointed single fuller blade, in a tooled leather scabbard, the chape engraved with St Andrew on the cross, the bi-knife and fork mounts engraved with Gaelic mottos and Celtic motifs
