Footnote
Amended note: in 1956, the Ministry of Defence opted to rehouse many watches from brands including examples from JLC, Omega and Lemania that were previously in chrome-plated cases. They used existing external and internal components to produce a series of 'new' watches. The chrome-plated cases had proven not to be resilient to use, and stainless steel versions (made by Dennison) were chosen as the more suitable alternative. This watch is one of these pieces and features one of the rarer white dials. The vendor purchased this in 1967.
