the silver demi-hunter cased, keyless wind pocket watch with black enamel outer hours indicator, enamel dial, subsidiary seconds dial (a/f), the outer hinged cover with the Princes crest, motto and feathers, the lever movement signed Tavannes Watch Co. the silver case marked for Dennison, Birmingham 1928. The letter, unaddressed but in POW envelope, on St James's Palace note paper to Mr Bell referring to his retirement from the police and enclosing the watch as a personal gift, the letter from an equerry P W Leigh and dated February 2th 1932
