Note: Although lacking the Glasgow town mark the makers mark struck to this piece matches that struck to items recorded with full Glasgow marks. Little is recorded about Berry Parkhill although it is known he was apprenticed to Milne & Campbell and appears to start working under his own auspices in 1782.
