Thomas Vicaridge entered his mark around 1697 when he was based at New Street as a Cutler and Hiltmaker. He was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Cutler's of London by apprenticeship to Joseph Jones in 1682. Although his mark is rarely seen, it has been noted on a small number of fine early 18th century swords
