Our annual Scottish Works of Art &amp; Whisky auction held in August 2024 has something to tempt the most discerning eye. &nbsp;The second part of the <a href="/auctions/scottish-wemyss-ware-the-george-bellamy-collection-770" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Scottish Wemyss Ware: The George Bellamy Collection</a> was on offer as well as Jacobite Works of Art, including glassware synonymous with the Jacobite cause, all decorated with the iconographic emblems including the oak leaf, the butterfly and FIAT, meaning ‘Let it come to pass’ encouraging the return of Bonnie Prince Charlie to Scotland.Scottish silver highlights include a rare set of six trefid spoons by George Luke of Glasgow and an impressive silver-gilt charger commissioned for the Dukes of Sutherland inset with their family seals.
