Provenance
Provenance: Originally the property of General Sir Frederick William Traill-Burroughs KCB CMG (British 1831 – 1905) and formed part of the contents of Trumland House, Rousay, Orkney. The house was built and furnished for Sir Traill-Burroughs in 1873, taking up residence after his marriage. The house and selected contents were purchased by the current vendor in 1980.
