with carved makers mark WW 1743, to inner edge, the oak rectangular box with iron handle to cover and brass handles and binding to side, the front of the box with three locks one with decorative plate with square and compass, the others joined by arched brass plaque inscribed 'Incorporation of Wrights Linlithgow'
