Description
George Carstairs, Edinburgh 1857, of rectangular form with hinged cover, the obverse engraved with scene of Calton Hill and the Royal High School, within foliate scroll cartouche, the reverse engraved with central scroll cartouche with monogrammed initials 'HJR' with four cartouches showing Edinburgh Castle, Scott Monument, Holyrood Palace and The Assembly Hall & Tolbooth Church, each in scroll cartouche with foliate and engine decorated detail
