Description
of flattened curved cow horn, naively engraved with tongue border with large cartouche of a six petalled rose separated by a zig zag border from a simple shield cartouche with A*L / 1693 within, a Highland figure above and towards the terminal a simple six petalled stylised flower, the obverse engraved a tongue border with thistle and flower head details, with cross hatched border above and figure within, separated by a tongue border from a scroll formed motif., the wide end plugged with a simple wooden section, the open pointed terminal with no mounts
