is that of LAING
The combination of these marks is very unusual for Forrest and not one that has been encountered before. The addition of the 'cat' mark has only been noted for William Craw of Canongate previously. The temptation of assuming this has been retailed by Forrest is an obvious one but the marks show no sign of overstriking another.
