Description
by John Leslie, Aberdeen circa 1790, marked IL, gothic A, omega, ABD, of Old English pattern, the slender handles and stems to a circular rounded bowl, the terminals engraved with BON ACCORD within a banner (4)

Notes: While these toddy ladles do not match fully it should be noted there are a set of fifteen very similar toddy ladles in the collection of Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum, known as the Bon Accord set. These are engraved with the full arms and motto for Aberdeen however on these examples the arms are missing.
