Circus Scene, Antibes is similar in style and composition to Maclauchlan Milne's paintings from the south of France. He first visited the Côte d’Azur in 1924 and returned several times in subsequent years until 1931. This work has been exhibited under the title ‘Entertainment in the Park’.
