Note: Two autograph letters signed from the editor, to J. Couch, the first proposing and discussing the idea of a book "under the name of Fishing Gossip and asking permission to reprint his article on the 'Torpedo', the second returning his original article, and 3 small ink sketches of a statue of Dagon, Astoreth and an Etruscan marine deity which are bound in at the end. Couch contributed the article Fishing and Fish-hooks of the Earliest Date.
