87 bromoil transfer prints from the photographer's archive, 83 signed in pencil, of Edinburgh views, Cramond, Eilean Donan, Kilchurn Castle,Craigcrook Castle, Craigmillar Castle, Kippford, St. Abbs, Crail, Macrihanish, Port Seton, Eskwater, Buckhaven, the Lake of Menteith, Eyemouth harbour, Aberlady bay, harbour, harvest scenes, genre scenes and portraits, approximately half mounted on board, and one reproduction print, from 14 x 18cm to 32 x 26cm

Note: A.W. Hill exhibited in many exhibitions of the Edinburgh Photographic Society between1905 and 1930, serving as judge in 1932 and lecturing to members of the E.P.S. on the bromoil transfer process in the 1930s.
