First edition, 8vo, [2], 10, [2], 303, errata leaf, contemporary half calf, spine gilt, pencil note by John Skelton (1831-97) on front endpaper "The errata at page X are very interesting. From these, for instance, it appears that the fine passage which ends with "Music slumbering on its instrument" [page 176] was an after-thought".
