First edition, folio, engraved frontispiece showing Charles I on horseback, later calf, lacking final blank, some soiling and darkening to frontispiece and conjugate leaf, some notes, mostly marginal, in large letters in an early hand, frontispiece laid down, a little rubbing to covers and spine, joints split [ESTC S106705, STC (2nd edition), 12206]
