Fourth edition, 4to, engraved portrait and 6 plates (5 folding), later half calf, bookplate, advert leaf trimmed with a little loss, small hole in pp.26-27 with loss of a couple of letters and another to pp.395-6, with no loss, spine a little faded [ESTC R25477] Kirby, Joshua Dr Brook Taylor's method of perspective made easy... Ipswich: printed by W. Craighton for the author, 1754. Second edition with first edition title-page, 4to, engraved frontispiece and 51 engraved plates (as per second edition), later quarter calf, bookplate, frontispiece trimmed and laid down, inner margins of initial pages repaired, several plates trimmed with some loss to engraved areas along outer margins, some tears to pp. 19-20 in second part, with loss of page numbers, a few notes in ink in an early hand [ESTC T133414]; Ralph, Benjamin The school of Raphael... Note: The ESTC for Leybourn's Compleat Surveyor lists this edition as having six folding plates, whilst this book has five folding plates and the final plate as one page only. This suggests some loss to the final plate in this book, although no such loss is immediately obvious.
