Oblong folio, with four folding coloured illustrations, publishers' green ribbed cloth, printed paper labels to spine and upper cover, t.e. trimmed, others deckled, contained in a matching slip case, no 239 of 400 copies, signed by Tom Stoppard and William Matthews.

Note: Baker & Wachs A23e. The design of the four fold-out drawings is an allusion to the 'Red books' of Sir Humphrey Repton, whose imaginary counterpart in the play, the landscape designer Mr Noakes, uses a similar presentation on stage.
