First edition, 8vo., with 4pp. of adverts, publisher's blue-green cloth, bottom edge untrimmed, very slight war at head, tail and corners, pencilled signature on front pastedown, tipped in contemporary newspaper account of the prosecution of Messrs Methuen for publication and the order for the destruction of copies, slight foxing of fore-edges

Note: Roberts A7. The police visited Methuen on 3 and 5 November with a warrant to impound all copies and unbound sheets. Court action at the Bow Street Magistrates was taken on 13 November 1915 and the court ordered the books to be destroyed with Methuen being ordered to pay £10 10s costs
