First edition, small 8vo, [one of 750 copies printed], 2 photogravure portraits by Emery Walker & 2 facsimiles, original cloth-backed blue boards with printed label on spine, folding box, boards slightly dust-soiled and marked, printed label rubbed, crease mark to upper board; with A.L.S. from Robert Bridges to the publisher, Humphrey Milford, regarding the publication "I do not think that prepayment wd. be of any convenience to Mrs H. It might of course be sentimentally assuring", and discussing the price of the publication and its likely commercial prospects "I should guess that the edition will not sell out for some years, though there shd. be an immediate sale of some 200 or so", Chilswell, Oxford, Nov. 11, datestamped "Oxford University Press Warehouse, 12 Nov. 1918"
