Murder in the cathedral... Acting edition for the Festival of the Friends of Canterbury Cathedral. Canterbury: H.J. Goulden, [1935]. First (acting) edition, inscribed and signed in ink by Eliot "Murder in the Cathedral, T.S. Eliot. Lent to Speech Training Group" on upper wrapper, original printed wrapper concealed by contemporary crude paper dustwrapper, with the original printed flyer listing the cast loosely inserted, folding black cloth box, minor spotting in places, contemporary ownership signature and address of "H.J. Brettell" at foot, and their inscription on front free endpaper, marginal pencillings throughout
