Note: We are grateful to Andrew Xavier, Director of the Charles Dickens Museum in London for drawing our attention to the fact that this is probably a "celebrity" autograph as distinct from a signature cut from the foot of a letter, and possibly written on the occasion of one of Dickens's public readings.
